Htwo-Fuel AS is located at Lutelandet and is strategically located just north of the entrance to Sognefjorden, in between the ports of Bergen og Florø.
Hwto-Fuel AS plans to establish hydrogen production at Lutelandet in Fjaler Muncipality, Vestland. The company was established in 2021 to make hydrogen and other hydrogen carriers available for the maritime market along the West Coast. Greenstat is an owner together with developers and local owners. Lutelandet is strategically located in the shipping route between Bergen and Florø. The industry area is under development, and there are plans for the establishment of industry by several actors. In addition, the area is one of the chosen hubs by Grønn Region Vestland, a program which aims for sustainable economic growth through collaboration between industry, research and governmental support and development programs.
The project has ambitions to the preferred provider of zero-emission fuels to consumers that are front-runners in the green shift by making early adaptations to zero-emission fuels. The plant is planned to be built modular, so that production capacity can be expanded by demand.
