We established our hydrogen venture in India in 2021. We believe that the way to a greener future is through global cooperation towards united climate goals.
India represents a large market for knowledge and development of hydrogen. It’s the world's second most populous country with an enormous need for upscaling within renewable energy sources and carriers. With existing knowledge and technological expertise, Norway has good opportunities to continue our tradition as a leading energy nation.
We believe that this partnership is the right way to go in order to create a market for Norwegian technology and industry, as well as contribute to the international value chain for hydrogen, and to use the experience we gain in Asia to create an ecosystem for hydrogen in Norway.
