Boosting the team with competence on hydrogen and safety

We are very pleased to announce that Are Opstad Sæbø has joined Greenstat’s hydrogen team. Are comes from a background as a senior consultant in Lloyd’s Register and started as a project leader in Greenstat November 1st 2019.

Are Opstad Sæbø holds a degree in physics from NTNU, has worked in SINTEF NBL (now RISE Fire Research) and Lloyd's Register Consulting, where he worked on quantitative risk-analysis (QRA) and consequence modelling. One of his fields of interest during his time in LR was estimating leakage frequencies from process equipment through participating in the development of the leak frequency model PLOFAM and the ignition model MISOF. Are has also worked as project leader. He will be working towards carrying out hydrogen projects in Greenstat Hydrogen and will be a resource in risk-analysis and safety design. Green and energy-efficient solutions are his passion.

In his free time, Are is a particularly sporty person, competing in triathlons and winter expeditions! We look forward to our next team building when all of Greenstat will go hiking :-)
